Many of our students are part of a Okinawa drum squad and a few of them went to Sao Paulo last weekend for the Centennial Okinawa Taiko fest. All 1150 participants learned the same beat and did it simultaneously. I'm sad I missed out... I'm missing gout on a lot of centennial stuff in Sao Paulo, but youtube is wonderful!

- (It was awkward writing my own bio, so Jackie, my favorite red head, wrote it for me!) I met Hannah as a freshman at Toccoa Falls College and have been blessed by her friendship. In her is an unwavering passion for missions that motivates and inspires others around her. Hannah has been an active youth leader in her home church in Cleveland, OH and has developed an amazing ministry while at college. She has served as a freshman resident assistant for 2 years and will also be beginning her 3rd year of involvement in Women’s Issues Ministry as chair this coming year. After being born and raised in Japan, Hannah has a fluency in the language and insight to the culture. With that Hannah hopes to communicate to the Japanese-Brazilians the Good News of Christ for her internship in Sao Paulo and Brasilia. Following her time in Brazil, Hannah will also travel to Okinawa, Japan to teach English for 3 weeks at to local Japanese children on the island. As you pray that the Lord would open the ears and hearts of the people that Hannah will encounter in Japan and Brazil this summer, also pray that he would give her clear direction for her future career as a missionary.
